  • - celery root 30 g;

  • - apple cider vinegar 2 tbsp. spoons;
  • - flour;
  • - vegetable oil;
  • - bay leaf 1 pc.;
  • - ground cinnamon 1/5 teaspoon;
  • - whole carnation 3 pcs.;
  • - allspice peas 5 pcs.;
  • - salt.

Step 1

Peel and grate the carrots. Peel and grate a small piece of celery. Then transfer to the carrot. Peel the onion and cut into half rings. Transfer to a shallow plate.

Place a skillet over medium heat, add a little oil and put onions, fry until translucent and tender. Add carrots and celery, and fry the mixture for about 10 minutes. The onion should turn light yellow. Then add the tomato paste. Sauté the vegetables for another 7-10 minutes. Pour in two cups of warm boiled water, add vinegar, pepper, cinnamon, cloves, sugar and salt to taste. Cook for 15-20 minutes. Add a bay leaf at the end. While the marinade is cooking, you can fry the fish.

Cut the fish into fillets with skin, remove the rib bones. Season with salt and flour. Heat a skillet over medium heat, add a little oil and fry the prepared fish on both sides until golden brown. Put the pieces of fried fish fillets in the pan with the marinade, and then "drown" them with a fork. Place the skillet over low heat, cover and simmer the fish for about 10 minutes. Turn off the heat and leave the fish to cool slightly and brew.
