Oven brisket with vegetables is a delicious, healthy and satisfying dinner for all family members. In addition, this dish (exactly baked) is recommended for those who are on a diet, because it contains a minimum amount of fats and carbohydrates.
Ingredients:
- 1 chicken breast (skinless)
- 1 large carrot;
- 1 onion;
- 200 g of cabbage (white cabbage);
- 200 g green beans;
- 3 large garlic cloves;
- 25 g universal seasoning with salt.
Preparation:
- Chop the cloves of garlic in any way you can.
- Rinse the chicken meat and pat dry with a paper towel. On the breast, make longitudinal cuts about 1 cm deep along the entire length. Rub the garlic gruel evenly into these indentations, also grate the entire breast with any universal seasoning with added salt, set the meat aside.
- If the green beans are frozen, remove them from the freezer before placing them in the oven so that they thaw a little.
- Take a large onion, cut off the top and root, peel, cut into half rings.
- Wash the carrots, peel off a thin layer of skin with a peeler, cut into cubes or circles as desired.
- Cut a piece of fresh white cabbage into small strips.
- In a separate deep bowl, mix green beans, onion half rings, chopped carrots and cabbage straws (it is more convenient to stir with your hands). The resulting mixture can be slightly salted.
- Put a piece of foil with a reserve in a deep baking sheet, put the breast in the middle on it, and distribute the mixed vegetables around. Cover the top with foil and pinch the sides.
- Preheat the oven, the temperature inside is 180 degrees, put the baking sheet with the breast and cook for 50 minutes.
The beauty of this recipe lies not only in the healthiness of the dish, but also in the fact that the ingredients can be dosed to your liking. For example, putting more onions and less beans, there are many options. Boiled rice is perfect as a side dish.
