Chicken breasts are a well-known dietary and healthy product in all respects. But in them, as in everything, there are not only pluses, but also minuses. Chicken breast meat has no fat, so it is dry and almost tasteless. It is possible to correct this situation when preparing them. You can resort to a technique that will turn the breasts into a juicy dish and saturate them with a peculiar taste.

It is necessary

    • chicken breasts on the bone - 600-800 g;
    • garlic - 3 cloves;
    • canned tomatoes - 4 pcs;
    • lemon - 1 pc;
    • cream with a fat content of 20-22% - 100 g;
    • potatoes - 4 pcs;
    • cheese - 100 g;
    • vegetable oil - 1 tbsp. l.;
    • onion - 1 pc;
    • salt
    • ground black pepper to taste.

Instructions

Step 1

Remove your chicken breasts from the freezer ahead of time to thaw in the refrigerator or at room temperature. It is highly undesirable to use a microwave for defrosting, as this will lose most of the useful properties and taste.

Step 2

Rinse the breasts under running water. Peel off. Prepare the meat for cooking. To do this, finely chop the garlic cloves and stuff the breasts with them. Rub on all sides with salt and pepper.

Step 3

Use high-sided dishes for cooking in the oven. Frying pans, stew pans, duck bowls - metal and ceramic, clay are suitable.

Step 4

Start filling out the oven form. Lubricate the inside of the dishes with any vegetable oil. Place prepared chicken breasts underneath.

Peel and finely chop the onions. Spread it over the entire surface of the cookware.

Step 6

Pour in all the cream so that it covers the onion. Squeeze the juice of one lemon into the cream to enhance the flavor of your dish.

Grind the canned tomatoes by peeling them off. Add them in portions to a bowl, without mixing with cream, so that some "islets" are formed. If you don't like tomatoes or have an allergic reaction to them, you can do without them.

Peel the potatoes. Cut it into circles, about 0.5 cm thick. Place the circles around the breasts so that the tomato "islands" remain intact. Season the dish with salt and pepper to your liking.

Step 9

Heat the oven to 200 degrees. Place the cookware on the wire shelf below the middle level. While the breasts are cooking, grate the cheese. After half an hour, sprinkle it generously on the dish. In this case, cheese will be a substitute for a lid so that the breasts do not lose the collected juice. After 15 minutes, it will turn golden, the dish is ready.
