Seaside fish cakes are very tender and tasty. In them you can feel not just minced meat, but individual pieces of fish, which gives the dish a piquancy and grace. The dish is universal, can be served with or without a side dish.

Step 1
Cut the fish into small cubes. If the fish is frozen, then it should first be defrosted. Chop the onion finely and mix with the fish. You can finely grate the onion, it will take longer, but the cutlets will be deliciously fluffy.
Step 2
Add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil and stir well. Put the fish in the refrigerator for 2 hours to marinate. If there is no time at all, then you don't need to pickle.
Step 3
Put eggs, flour, baking soda, salt in the fish and mix well. Pour vegetable oil into the pan, you should get a layer of 1 mm. Wait for it to warm up well.
Step 4
Scoop up the fish mass with a tablespoon and place in a skillet. Fry on both sides with medium heat on the stove. It should be served with vegetables. Cauliflower, boiled Brussels sprouts, stewed or mashed potatoes work well. Can also be served with buckwheat or rice porridge.
