With the arrival of warm spring days, the summer cottage season opens. There are several sunny months ahead for nature trips and picnics. This is the time for lovers of kebabs and delicious chicken wings. But not everyone has the opportunity to travel outside the city. And the breeding of a barbecue in an apartment is not a good idea. In this case, chicken lula is a great way to taste delicious juicy meat.
Ingredients:
- chicken fillet - 600 g (for four servings);
- cheese - 60 g;
- onions - 2 pcs;
- sweet red pepper - 2 pcs;
- eggs - 2 pcs;
- seasonings to taste;
- wooden skewers.
Preparation:
- Before directly preparing the dish, you should first soak the skewers in water for 1 hour. This will prevent the meat from burning and sticking during baking.
- Place the peppers under the connected grill on the wire rack heated to the maximum. Bake until dark and tan. Don't forget to turn the peppers. The usual time until ready is 7-8 minutes.
- Then we take out the core with a knife and peel it. The pulp is cut into squares.
- Cut the defrosted chicken fillet into small pieces, then, using a powerful knife or cleaver, chop until minced. Chop the onions finely, cut the cheese into equal medium-sized cubes.
- Remove the butter from the refrigerator and let it melt a little. In the meantime, mix cheese, onions and bell peppers with the minced chicken. Add butter and eggs. Stir the minced meat until smooth, adding seasonings and salt to your taste.
- Let the minced meat stand in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Wet your hands with hot water. We make small elongated cutlets from minced meat and put them on skewers. Put the resulting lula on a baking sheet and leave in the oven for 20-25 minutes, setting the "grill" mode and the temperature of 180 degrees. A sign of readiness is the appearance of a golden crust. Do not forget to turn over.
The dish must be served immediately after cooking, in no case let it cool! The dish goes well with cherry tomatoes, salad, drizzled vinegar and oil.
