Self-prepared dishes are usually tastier and healthier than purchased ones, especially with a longer shelf life. And when it comes to feeding babies, you want everything to be only natural. And if the preparation of children's vegetable purees does not raise any questions, then the preparation of cottage cheese at home seems difficult. But this is not the case.
It is necessary
- - milk
- - water
Instructions
Step 1
Pour fresh milk into a small saucepan and leave it to sour at room temperature for a day or a day, depending on the temperature in the kitchen.
Step 2
When the milk turns sour, pour more water into a saucepan and put on high heat. We put a saucepan with milk, covered with a lid, in it.
Step 3
We heat the milk for 10-15 minutes. It should be warm, you don't need to boil it. During the heating process, cottage cheese and whey are formed from the milk.
Step 4
Remove the pan from the heat and place the contents of the small pan on a sieve or cheesecloth. Thus, you will have cottage cheese on the sieve, and the whey will merge.
Step 5
After cooling, the curd can be eaten. It turns out to be very soft and tender, like baby curd, and not at all sour.
