Be sure to sift the flour, and then mix thoroughly with baking powder. Knead the dough. Next, roll "sausages" with a diameter of 4-5 cm from the dough. Cut each "sausage" into circles 1-1.5 cm wide. Put the cookies on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. In a small bowl, whisk the yolk and milk together and brush over each cookie. Sprinkle with sesame seeds on top. Preheat the oven to 180-190 ° C and place the baking sheet inside. Bake for 15 minutes. Homemade cakes are ready.

Not only sesame seeds can be used as a sprinkle. For these purposes, cumin or chopped walnuts or any other nuts are also perfect. Lovers of sweeter baked goods will appreciate cookies sprinkled with granulated sugar or sugar mixed with cinnamon.
