It is necessary

- For syrup:
- - 200 g of honey
- - 3 tbsp. Sahara

Step 1
Mix the flour with sugar, zest and salt, pour a heaped surface onto the table, make a depression in the center and drive eggs into it. Then knead to a smooth dough.
Step 2
The dough must be divided into parts. Then from each make a tourniquet about 2 cm thick. The tourniquets are cut into pieces. Heat in a deep skillet over moderate heat.

In several batches, it is necessary to fry the dough pieces until golden brown on all sides. The pieces of dough in the pan should not be cramped.

Transfer the finished balls to paper towels to absorb excess fat.

Now you need to prepare the syrup. To do this, put sugar and honey in a small ladle and put on the stove. Over moderate heat, stirring occasionally, bring the sugar to complete dissolution. The balls must be put in syrup and mixed.

Transfer to a dish with a slide, alternating with chopped candied fruits. Decorate everything with colored sprinkles. Let the struffoli harden and serve.
