I suggest you bake this amazingly tender and healthy apple strudel from filo dough.
It is necessary
- Filo dough - 6 sheets;
- Green apples - 4 large pieces;
- Cane sugar - 150 g;
- Cinnamon - 1 tsp with a top;
- A handful of chopped almonds;
- Dried cranberries - 100 g (can be replaced with raisins or dried apricots);
- Optional: 2 tbsp. rum;
- Aerosolized olive oil.
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the apple into a medium cube, put it in a saucepan sprinkled with aerosol oil with 100 g of sugar, cinnamon and dried fruits. Rum can be added if desired. We simmer everything together for 10 minutes. Then the mixture must be completely cooled.
Step 2
Place a layer of filo dough on baking paper. Drizzle with oil and lightly sprinkle with 10 g of sugar. Cover with a layer and repeat the manipulations until the layers are over. Put the filling on a third of the last layer, sprinkle with ground almonds and roll into a roll. Place with seam down and pinch edges.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Sprinkle the strudel with oil and put it in the oven for 25 - 30 minutes. Allow to cool completely before serving. Bon Appetit!
