How to make a low calorie pizza

By itself, classic pizza cannot be considered a low-calorie diet meal. It contains a large amount of fat and simple carbohydrates, which are very high in calories. But after all, pizza is a very tasty dish, and sometimes you want to pamper yourself without harming your health. In this case, welcome to an amazing experiment - making a low-calorie pizza with cauliflower dough.

The cauliflower-based dough, oddly enough, turns out to be of sufficient quality - it does not crumble or stick. Therefore, a slice of pizza can be completely cut off and taken in hand. You can take chicken or turkey as a filling, this meat is quite dietary, and it will not add extra calories.

Required Ingredients

Here's what you need to make this pizza:

• 1 small forks of cauliflower;

• A pair of eggs;

• Half a glass of grated mozzarella cheese;

• A quarter cup of grated Parmesan cheese;

• A teaspoon of oregano;

• Salt;

• A glass of boiled small pieces of chicken or turkey;

• Half a glass of sauce to taste;

• Half a cup of red onion, thinly sliced;

• A couple tablespoons of chopped or dried greens.

Making a cabbage pizza

Having prepared everything you need, you can start the creative process.

Having disassembled the cauliflower, not small inflorescences, we throw it into boiling water and boil for just a couple of minutes. Next, drain the water, let the cabbage cool slightly and grind in a blender. Now an extremely important step must be taken: put the shredded cabbage on a clean towel and squeeze out. This is to prevent the cabbage crust from sticking to the baking sheet during baking.

Then mix the prepared cauliflower, egg, cheeses, oregano and salt. We bring all this mass to a homogeneous state and put it on a greased baking sheet for the cake. The oven should be preheated to 200 degrees, then put the cake on baking. After 15 minutes, the cake is ready!

While baking the crust, knead the pizza filling. Everything is also quite simple and fast: chicken or turkey, sauce, chopped onions, herbs - mix all this well.

We take out the finished cake, put the filling on it and set it to bake all together for another quarter of an hour. When the cheese begins to bubble and sizzle on the surface, everything is ready and ready to be served.

Low-calorie pizza is an experiment in itself, so don't be afraid to add something to your liking. The main thing is not to overdo it with fats and simple carbohydrates, that is, you should show moderation in cheese and sauces. If you want, you can add, for example, cherry tomatoes, olives, pineapples, mushrooms. Also, some people like to season pizza with interesting spices: pickled ginger, seaweed, sumac, turmeric, cumin, rosemary. With your imagination, you can create a range of low-calorie and extremely delicious pizzas.
