Italian cuisine is famous for the fact that all dishes in it are very satisfying, but at the same time inexpensive. One favorite example is pizza. Another option that many housewives like for their budget and excellent taste is Italian salad. It is allowed to "collect" an appetizer from any products that are in the refrigerator, not forgetting, of course, about the compatibility of ingredients. If you are not yet ready to experiment, then prepare an Italian salad according to the recipes below.
It is necessary
- - 300 g of pasta;
- - 300 g lean ham;
- - 2-3 pcs. tomatoes. If possible, buy small cherry tomatoes, they look very nice in a salad. Small tomatoes need 6 pcs.;
- - 1 PC. red sweet pepper;
- - 150 g of cheese. In principle, any variety will do, but it is better to cook with mozzarella;
- - 200 g of canned corn;
- - 2 garlic cloves;
- - Salt, pepper optional;
- - Basil or parsley, dill should not be added, it does not go well with Italian salad;
- - 1 tbsp. l. olive oil for cooking pasta;
- - For refueling you need 5 tbsp. l. olive oil and 1 tbsp. l. fruit vinegar.
Instructions
Step 1
Let's start preparing an Italian salad. First of all, take a small saucepan, fill it with water, add 1 tbsp. l. olive oil. Boil the contents of the pot.
Step 2
Put the pasta in boiling water and cook according to the instructions on the package. Manufacturers often indicate how much a product needs to be boiled to make it, as Italians say, “al dente” or “by the mouth”. For a delicious Italian salad, it is important to cook the pasta properly.
Step 3
When the pasta is boiled, discard it in a colander, let the liquid drain.
Step 4
Wash the tomatoes, remove the stalk, cut into small squares. Using cherry tomatoes, cut into 4-6 pieces depending on size. Cherries just perfectly complement the Italian salad, making it bright.
Step 5
Wash the pepper, remove the stalk, clean the seeds. Cut the prepared vegetable into thin strips.
Step 6
Cheese, if you choose a hard variety, grate on a coarse grater. If you use mozzarella to make an Italian salad, cut it into small pieces.
Step 7
Cut the ham into large cubes, it is important that its taste "can be traced" in the salad.
Step 8
Open a jar of corn, discard the product in a colander, let the excess liquid drain.
Step 9
Make a salad dressing. To do this, combine olive oil and fruit vinegar, add garlic, passed through a press, and ground pepper. Stir the ingredients.
Step 10
Combine warm pasta, corn, prepared peppers, cheese, tomatoes and ham in a deep bowl.

Season the Italian salad with cooked sauce. Sprinkle chopped herbs on top of the dish before serving.
