    • Ham with apples and mustard sauce:
    • - 4 slices of pork ham;
    • - 1 tablespoon of liquid honey;
    • - 2 tablespoons of wine vinegar;
    • - 1 tablespoon of mustard;
    • - 2 tablespoons of starch;
    • - 600 ml of apple juice;
    • - 25 g butter;
    • - salt;
    • - ground black pepper.
    • Veal with apple-lingonberry sauce:
    • - 800 g of veal (ham from the hind leg);
    • - 1 tablespoon of ghee;
    • - 500 g lingonberries;
    • - 800 g of apples;
    • - 500 g of sugar;
    • - salt.

Instructions

Step 1

Pork leg with apples and mustard sauce is prepared very quickly and easily. Wash the meat, cut it into even layers and rub with salt. Use scissors to make cuts along the edges of the fat layer to make the slices look smoother after baking. Place the pork on the grill or place it on the wire rack above the baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes on each side.

Step 2

Pour liquid honey and wine vinegar into a saucepan, add mustard, starch, salt and pepper. While stirring constantly, pour in the apple juice in portions. Bring the mixture to a boil, rubbing continuously with a wooden spatula. Reduce heat and cook sauce until thickened.

Step 3

Peel the apples of seeds, do not remove the skin. Cut the fruit into quarters and place in a skillet with heated butter. Stir and fry until tender and golden brown. Arrange the slices of ham on plates, place the apple slices next to it and pour the mustard sauce over the composition.

Step 4

Baked veal also has a rich and pleasant taste. Take a piece of ham, wash and peel off the films. Rub with salt, place in a skillet with melted fat and brown on all sides. Transfer the meat to a baking sheet and drizzle with the fat in which it was fried. Place in a well-heated oven and bake for 3-4 hours. Cooking time depends on the size of the ham. During the roasting process, pour the meat juice that stands out on the veal.

Step 5

Make applesauce. Cook the lingonberries, fold them in a colander and wipe with a wooden spoon. Add sugar to the resulting puree, boil. Peel and seed the apples, cut into thin slices and place with the lingonberries. When the apples are tender, remove the sauce from the stove and refrigerate.

Step 6

Remove the veal from the baking sheet and cut into nice, even slices. Place on a large platter so that the layers of meat are on top of one another. Pour some of the sauce over the veal. Pour the remaining applesauce into a gravy boat and serve separately.
