It is necessary

  • - Lightly salted herring - 1 pc.;
  • - Carrots (or bell peppers) - 1 pc.;
  • - Sweet onion - 1 pc.;
  • - Chicken egg - 1pc.;
  • - Gelatin - 15 g;
  • - Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons;
  • - Fish or vegetable broth - 3-4 tablespoons;
  • - Spices, salt - the taste.

Instructions

Step 1

We process the fish - remove the insides, cut it in half, remove the skin and carefully remove the bones. We've got a herring fillet.

Step 2

Cut carrots or bell peppers into small cubes or grate.

Step 3

Peel, wash and finely chop the onions. We do the same with herbs - dill and parsley.

Step 4

Boil the eggs in boiling salted water. Cool and chop finely.

Step 5

Immerse the gelatin in a cool broth, let it dissolve. Add the whole portion of mayonnaise.

In a large enough container, we combine all the ingredients of the filling: eggs, vegetables, herbs. We fill everything with mayonnaise with gelatin. Season with spices and salt.

We send the minced meat to a cool place to thicken.

Step 8

Put 1 piece of fillet on cling film, place minced meat on top. Cover with the second piece, but inverted (tail first). Wrap it tightly with foil and send it to the refrigerator.
