It is necessary

  • - butter - 100 g;
  • - eggs - 4 pcs;
  • - sugar - 1 glass;
  • - baking powder for dough - 1 teaspoon;
  • - flour - 1, 5 cups;
  • - pitted cherries - 500 g;
  • - vanilla sugar - 2 teaspoons;
  • - salt.

Instructions

Step 1

Combine melted butter with granulated sugar and eggs. Mix these ingredients thoroughly with each other until smooth.

Step 2

Mix the salt with baking powder and flour, sift through a sieve several times, then add to the mixture of eggs, butter and granulated sugar. By mixing this mass thoroughly, you will get a Tyrolean cake dough.

Step 3

Taking a baking dish, preferably a round one, cover it with a sheet of parchment. Divide the resulting dough into 2 identical pieces. One of them, wrapped in plastic wrap, put to cool in the freezer for 30 minutes. Place the remaining part in an even layer on the bottom of the mold, tamping it down with your fingers. Also, don't forget to shape the sides for the dish.

Step 4

Send the mass tamped to the bottom of the form into the oven and bake at a temperature of 160 degrees for about 5 minutes. When this period of time has passed, increase the heat in the oven to 190 degrees and bake the future cake for another 7 minutes.

Step 5

It's time to start preparing the filling for the pie. To do this, mix the washed cherries with vanilla sugar. By the way, you can choose absolutely any fruits and berries, just do not forget to chop them, if necessary, of course.

Step 6

Place the cherry-sugar mass on the baked crust, gently leveling. Rub the frozen dough on top of it. In this form, send the resulting dish to bake in the preheated oven for another 30 minutes.

Step 7

Serve the treat, cooled and garnished with mint leaves. Tyrolean cherry pie is ready!
