  • - onion 150 g
  • - ground cinnamon 1 tsp
  • - vegetable oil
  • - black peppercorns
  • - salt and ground pepper

Instructions

Step 1

Cut the onion into half rings.

Step 2

Rinse the prunes well and cut into small pieces.

Step 3

Cut the meat into large pieces about 1.5 cm thick.

Step 4

Fry the onion in vegetable oil. Place the meat on top and simmer for about 5 minutes. Then turn the pieces of lamb, cover the pan with a lid and continue simmering for about 15 minutes more.

Step 5

Sprinkle the meat with prunes and cinnamon, add 100 ml of water to the contents, cover and simmer the dish over low heat for about 40-50 minutes. Add some water periodically if necessary.

Step 6

Season the meat with salt and pepper, add any spices, turn the pieces over and simmer for another 10-15 minutes. For a side dish with lamb, boil crumbly rice.
