Cold appetizer "Fly agaric" is perfect for a festive table. Nutritional qualities and original, cheerful appearance of this dish will delight guests and decorate a festive feast. But it is advisable to cook this recipe just before serving.
To prepare a dish you will need:
- large chicken eggs - 3 pcs. (if small - 4 pcs.);
- ham - 120 g;
- hard cheese - 100 g;
- cherry tomatoes - about 15 pcs. (based on 1 mushroom - ½ tomato);
- fresh cucumbers - 2 pcs. medium size;
- mayonnaise - 2 tbsp. l.;
- greens - dill, parsley - 1 bunch each;
- lettuce leaves - 2-3 pcs.
Cooking snacks
Boil eggs hard-boiled, cool in cold water. Grate cheese and eggs on a fine grater. Cut the ham as small as possible, almost into crumbs. Combine these ingredients in a deep bowl with two tablespoons of mayonnaise. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cut the cherry tomatoes in half and the cucumbers into 1/2 cm thick circles (you can do this with a curly knife). Now all you have to do is to assemble all the components into a single whole to make a nice "fly agaric".
To do this, place lettuce and chopped herbs on a large flat plate. Place cucumber circles on top in one layer. On top of each, place a formed and slightly flattened ball of a mixture of cheese, eggs and ham. This will be the leg of the mushroom. Put on a "hat" on top - half a cherry. Lightly press down on the entire composition with your finger. Make white specks on the cap of the mushroom from mayonnaise, putting a few dots on the tomato. The quickest and most accurate way to do this is to use a toothpick.
Keep in mind that cook the dish no earlier than an hour before serving, as tomatoes and cucumbers can juice and spoil the appearance of the snack.
