When preparing country-style potatoes with sour cream sauce and tender ham, you need to add other products for taste: fresh cucumber, green onions, spices for pungency and piquancy. Place the washed tubers in a saucepan, cover with water, boil on the stove until tender, avoiding boiling. It is enough to cook young potatoes for 15 minutes, old ones - about 25 minutes over low heat.
