Snacks on the festive table are the most important and responsible part. Herring under a fur coat and Olivier are hits on New Year's Eve. But you probably shouldn't limit yourself to such "classic" snacks on any holiday.
Delicious mini rolls are a good idea for a festive table of appetizers, they are very easy to make and very convenient to eat. You can practically "twist" such rolls from nothing: from lavash and cheese, from zucchini and salmon, from ham and baked pumpkin.
There is another great idea for the holiday menu - stuffing something. It is stuffing that can give in to everything. Something is taken out of something native and replaced with some kind of filling: eggplants, zucchini, tomatoes, eggs, onions and fish. The filling can be anything made into mashed potatoes or minced meat: olives, shrimps, cheese with herbs or garlic, egg yolk with cheese, mushrooms, and also some cereals.
Let's take a look at a recipe for how to cook stuffed eggs. This recipe is arguably the cheapest and easiest snack option. Thanks to some peculiarities, we get not only stuffed eggs, but just a "bomb".
In order to prepare such an appetizer for six servings, you must have:
- Boil hard-boiled eggs and cool under running cold water. Peel the boiled eggs, cut them in half, remove the yolks and knead them.
- Finely chop the onion. Grate the carrots on a fine grater. Fry carrots and onions in butter. Season with pepper and salt.
- Add carrots and onions to the yolks. To make the mixture much more airy, add mayonnaise, and mix everything well.
- We fill the proteins with the prepared mixture. Sprinkle the stuffed eggs or other herbs with chopped green onions.
That's all.
