This dish will be a great occasion to pamper your homemade fish menu. Especially children who do not want to eat fish and seafood in any way. You can hardly tear them off from such a fish.
Ingredients:
- Fresh frozen capelin - 500 g;
- Water - 1 glass;
- Salt to taste;
- Yeast - 10 g;
- Flour - 150 g;
- Egg - 2 pcs;
- Salt, sugar.
Preparation:
- Rinse the capelin under cold water and let the water drain. You can blot the washed fish with a paper towel. Clean the fish, gut the entrails, tear off the head. Then sprinkle with salt and stir gently so that the capelin is slightly salted.
- Pour warm water into a medium-deep bowl, then dissolve the yeast in it, beat in the eggs one at a time, add a little salt and a pinch of sugar to ferment the yeast. Mix the whole mixture thoroughly.
- After that, add a little flour and knead the mixture until smooth. The dough should have the consistency of not too thick sour cream. Let the dough stand for a while. When the batter has slightly increased in volume, mix it well again.
- Pour a large amount of vegetable oil into a frying pan so that the fish can swim in it, and heat it up. Each fish must be taken by the tail, dipped in batter and dipped in heated oil, making sure that the fish bathed in oil. The fire should not be too strong so that the capelin is fried inside the batter.
- When the fish has acquired a golden color, it is removed from the deep fat and spread on napkins or paper towels to get rid of excess fat.
Such a fish turns out to be so tender that it literally melts in the mouth and it is impossible to tear yourself away from it.
