It is necessary

    • 700 g fish fillet (trout
    • salmon or salmon);
    • 70 g softened butter;
    • 350 g ready-made puff pastry;
    • 1 lemon;
    • 1 egg;
    • 1 tomato;
    • dill or parsley;
    • 5 medium-sized mushrooms;
    • 1 tbsp. a spoonful of dried basil;
    • pepper and salt to taste.

Instructions

Step 1

Turn on the oven before cooking fish in puff pastry. It must be heated up to 200 degrees.

Step 2

Thoroughly wash the fish fillets in running water and pat dry in a cotton towel. Rub the fish well with salt and pepper. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon on it and let the fish soak.

Step 3

Finely grate the lemon zest, mix it with butter, basil and finely chopped dill or parsley. Add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice to the resulting mass.

Step 4

Cut the mushrooms into slices and fry them in vegetable oil until lightly browned. Cut the tomatoes into thin slices.

Step 5

The size of the puff pastry layer should be such that the whole fish fits on it. Place the fillets on top of the dough and spread with a mixture of butter, lemon zest and herbs. Put fried mushrooms on top, and tomatoes on top of them.

Step 6

Wrap the fish filling or cover it on top with a layer of dough the same size as the bottom layer. Brush the edges of the pie with a beaten egg. This is necessary so that they stick together better. Secure the edges with pinching movements of your fingers around the entire perimeter of the pie. As a result, you should have a tight envelope. Make sure there are no holes in it.

Step 7

Brush the top of the pie with the remaining beaten egg. Use a toothpick to make 3 small holes for the steam to escape and transfer the cake to a greased baking sheet.

Step 8

Bake the dish until golden brown for 20-30 minutes in a preheated oven.
