The Sacher cake was named after its manufacturer Franz Sacher. The recipe was first created in 1832.
It is necessary

- - 200 g flour;
- - 250 ml of milk;
- - 200 g of chocolate;
- - 150 g of sugar;

Step 1
Melt butter, add sugar. While stirring the mixture, gradually add the egg yolks. Beat the whites separately until they are foamy.

Next, you need to put milk to warm up. Add chocolate wedges to it. Minimize the gas level. Do not bring milk to a boil. As a result, the mixture should be thick.
Step 3
Add a spoonful of baking powder to the flour. Then pour the masses obtained in the first and second steps into it. Mix everything thoroughly.
Step 4
Prepare a baking dish after greasing it with butter. Pour the mass obtained in step 3 onto a baking sheet. It is necessary to bake the cake for 40 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.
Step 5
The resulting cake can be cut into two equal parts horizontally. Then you can brush the sides with whipped cream, jam, or chocolate paste. Grated nuts and dried fruits are also added to taste.
