The original name of this cake is Original Sacher torte. This is an Australian dish. It turns out amazing, tender and very, very tasty. It is impossible to break away from eating such an excellent delicacy.

  • - 350 g dark chocolate
  • - 140 g butter
  • - 125 g granulated sugar
  • - 250 g flour
  • - 6 eggs
  • - 260 g icing sugar
  • - 1 tbsp. l. baking powder
  • - 300 g of peach or apricot jam
  • - lemon juice
  • - 8 tsp water

Instructions

Step 1

Make a dough. First melt 150 g of chocolate in the microwave. Then add granulated sugar and butter, beat well with a mixer.

Step 2

Separate the whites from the yolks. Add the yolks to the chocolate mass and beat until smooth. Whisk the whites with 1 tbsp. icing sugar. Add whites and baking powder to the chocolate mass, stir until smooth. Pour flour in a thin stream and mix vigorously until smooth.

Step 3

Place the dough in a baking dish and spread the dough over the surface. Send to the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, bake for 50-60 minutes. Check readiness with a toothpick. Remove the biscuit from the oven and let cool. Cut the cooled biscuit into two equal parts.

Step 4

Grease the bottom with jam and cover with the top.

Step 5

Make the frosting. Melt the chocolate in the microwave, add 2 tbsp. butter, lemon juice and icing sugar, stir. Add 8 tsp. boiling water and stir until smooth.

Step 6

Lubricate the cake generously with chocolate icing. Put it in the refrigerator for 8-12 hours until it solidifies.
