To prepare Copenhag puffs, you will need the following set of components:

- ready-to-use puff pastry (620 g);

- fine table salt (to taste);

- ham (120 g);

- fresh greens in assortment;

- processed cheese (120 g);

- Gouda cheese (110 g);

- green and red sweet peppers (220 g);

- chicken yolk (1 piece);

- salami (110 g).

Cut the ham into very small cubes, then mix it with chopped herbs and grated melted cheese. Cut the peppers into small cubes, blanch them in salted boiling water for one minute, pour over with very cold water, having previously thrown them into a colander.

Cut the salami into very small cubes, chop the Gouda cheese, mix both of these ingredients with the chopped peppers.

Sprinkle the layers of puff pastry with slightly lukewarm water, roll them into rectangles, laying them on top of each other. Moreover, the size of each of these rectangles should be 50x20 cm. Cut the rectangles into squares so that their dimensions are 10x10 cm.

Beat the yolk with a fork, smear the squares on the surface with this beaten mixture. Put all types of filling on each square. Roll the filled squares in such a way that you get neat triangles, cockscombs or envelopes, or you can simply decorate the squares with strips of the remaining dough without folding them in any way.

Put the cooked puffs raw on a baking sheet with low walls, the bottom of which was previously covered with parchment. Heat the oven to a temperature of 200 degrees, cook Copenhag puffs for 20 minutes.
