Apple is an amazing fruit that can be eaten not only raw. You can make a delicious dessert and a wonderful side dish from apples, while most vitamins can be preserved if the heat treatment is carried out correctly.
You can bake apples by cutting out the middle and putting some minced meat there. It turns out an unusual and very healthy dish - when baked, apples will almost not lose vitamins. Or replace minced meat with cottage cheese, sprinkle the top with powdered sugar. Baked apple puree is good for baby food.
Try baked apples and berries. It is useful to serve such a delicacy to children during the winter cold season, so that the body receives more vitamins. Prepare 100 g of cranberries, 150 g of lingonberries, 50 g of blackberries. Berries can be taken both fresh and frozen. This amount of berries is enough for 6 medium-sized apples (each about 200 g). You will also need a large orange, 3 teaspoons of honey, half a teaspoon of ground cinnamon.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. In each of the apples, make cuts so that the top turns out to be like a lid, and remove the core with a teaspoon or a sharp knife. Remove the zest from the orange and squeeze the juice.
Place the apples in a baking dish. They must be poured with orange juice - so that it would not get inside and pour into the mold. Mix the zest with cinnamon and honey, distribute over the apples. Put berries in each. If they have been frozen, it is best not to defrost them first. Cover the apples with a top-lid. Bake for about 40 minutes, until the top is browned and the apples themselves are soft.
