A very simple but delicious airy crunchy cake! Take it with you to the park or to the seashore - with a glass of cold fruit drink you will get a wonderful snack!
It is necessary
- - 400 g of water;
- - 200 g of olive oil;
- - 260 g of wheat flour;
- - 8 eggs;
- - ground cinnamon to taste;
- - sugar to taste;
- - a couple of pinches of salt;
- - pork fat (optional).
Instructions
Step 1
In a saucepan, combine water and oil, place on the stove and bring to a boil. Remove from the burner and add a couple pinches of salt.
Step 2
Next, you need to brew the flour. To do this, pour all the flour into boiling water at once and mix quickly, thoroughly and intensively with a spatula. Begin adding eggs, mixing thoroughly after each. At first, the dough will be rather uneven, flaky, but then it will turn into smooth and uniform.
Step 3
Take a large baking sheet (preferably with high sides) and brush it with melted butter or lard. You can also just line it up with good baking paper or parchment. Put all the dough on it and spread over the surface with a spatula soaked in water in a thin layer.
Step 4
Put the oven to warm up to a temperature of 180 degrees.
Step 5
In a separate bowl, combine cinnamon and sugar. Take the amount to taste. Sprinkle the mixture over the baking sheet in an even layer. On top of the dough, you can spread pork fat, cut into small cubes - it gives a "zest" to sweet pastries, but it is quite possible to do without it (or replace it with butter!).
Step 6
Send to a hot oven for half an hour. The dough will first swell, but then it will go down. Readiness can be checked by knocking on the product: the sound must be dry.
