Bean salad with tuna and celery belongs to the Italian cuisine. Thanks to the aromatic dressing, the salad becomes even tastier! You can spice up the recipe by adding fresh spinach or pickling onions in vinegar.
It is necessary
- For six servings:
- - 4 cups cannellini beans;
- - 340 g canned tuna;
- - 2 stalks of celery;
- - 1 onion;
- - 2 lemons;
- 1/2 cup pitted olives
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- - 1/4 cup chopped parsley;
- - sea salt, fresh ground pepper.
Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare your Italian salad dressing. To do this, mix the juice of two lemons, olive oil, chopped parsley, pepper, salt in a deep container. While you prepare the salad, the dressing will infuse.
Step 2
Combine the beans and chopped celery in a deep bowl. Cut the olives into slices, add to the beans.
Step 3
Cut the onion into half rings. At this stage, the onion, if desired, can be scalded with boiling water.
Step 4
Drain the juice from the tuna can, break the fish into small pieces. Add to beans.
Step 5
Remaining bean salad to season - pour in the dressing, mix gently. Arrange the prepared salad in portioned plates, serve immediately.
