Pie with beef liver, mushrooms and sour cream is a very successful combination that all family members will definitely like. It takes a little while to prepare such a cake, but its taste is worth it!

Ingredients:

  • 100 g margarine;
  • 1, 5 cups flour;
  • 3 chicken eggs;
  • 250 g sour cream;
  • 0.4 kg beef liver;
  • 1 onion;
  • 1 tbsp. l. butter;
  • 150 g champignons;
  • 1-2 liters of milk;
  • greens of onions and dill;
  • salt to taste.

Preparation:

  1. Peel the beef liver from films, wash, put in a wide bowl and cover with milk for 2-3 hours.
  2. Cut cold margarine into small pieces.
  3. Combine flour with margarine, pour into a bowl and rub with your hands until smooth. This can be done not with your hands, but with a combine.
  4. Pour ½ tsp into the flour mass. salt and pour in sour cream, beaten with egg. Knead a soft, pliable and elastic dough that will not stick to your hands. The structure of the dough is directly dependent on flour and eggs, so these products must be of very good quality. Their number can be adjusted in order to achieve the desired dough structure.
  5. Wrap the finished dough with cling film and place in the refrigerator for 35-40 minutes.
  6. In the meantime, you need to prepare the filling. To do this, peel the onion, wash, cut into small cubes and fry in oil for 5 minutes using medium heat.
  7. Remove the liver from the milk, cut into cubes, add to the pan to the onion, mix with the onion and fry for 5 minutes too, then turn it off and remove from the stove.
  8. Cool the contents of the pan, put in a blender and cut into smaller pieces. If you don't have a blender, you can use a meat grinder.
  9. Put butter in a frying pan from under the liver and heat it up. Wash the mushrooms, chop coarsely, put in hot oil and fry for 5-7 minutes over high heat.
  10. Finely chop the greens with a knife.
  11. Remove the dough from the refrigerator, unwind and distribute with your hands in a round shape (with a preferred diameter of 25-26 cm), forming middle sides.
  12. Chop the test base with a fork and send it to the oven for 10 minutes, preheated to 200 degrees.
  13. Meanwhile, in one container, combine the fried mushrooms (with oil after frying), chopped liver and finely chopped greens. Season everything with salt and pepper and mix until smooth.
  14. Remove the dough base from the oven and fill with the filling.
  15. Beat the sour cream with eggs with a fork, then season with salt and beat again.
  16. Pour the filling into the egg mass.
  17. Formed pie with liver and mushrooms to send for 40-50 minutes in the oven preheated to 180 degrees. During this time, the fill should rise and brown. If this does not happen, then you need to bake more. Cool the finished pie, cut and serve.
