Small cutlets cooked with olives in a rather spicy sauce. The dish tastes very interesting, but only for lovers of spicy food.
It is necessary
- - 1100 g minced beef;
- - 115 g semolina;
- - 110 ml of tomato juice;
- - 325 g of green olives;
- - 210 ml tomato sauce;
- - 25 ml of tamarind;
- - 10 g of garlic;
- - 15 g of cumin (cumin);
- - 25 g of hot red pepper;
- - salt.
Instructions
Step 1
First of all, it is necessary to thoroughly mix the minced meat with semolina and tomato juice, salt and pepper. Then, from the resulting mixture, mold small balls no larger than a walnut.
Step 2
Then fry the resulting meatballs in olive oil for 25 minutes.
Step 3
Dip the green olives in boiling water, cook for 5 minutes, then drain the water, pour in another and boil the olives again. Drain the water again.
Step 4
Peel the garlic, chop and fry a little in olive oil. Add tomato sauce, hot pepper, tamarind, cumin in a frying pan and continue to simmer for 6 minutes. Then put meatballs and olives into the sauce, pour water so that the meatballs are slightly covered.
Step 5
Cover and simmer over low heat for about 40 minutes. Rice or pasta are perfect for garnish with this dish.
