If you haven't tasted Indian food, you've lost a lot! I suggest you catch up and prepare a delicious and delicate dessert called Rasgullah.
It is necessary
- - milk 2, 5% - 1 l;
- - lemon juice - 2-3 tablespoons;
- - sugar - 150 g;
- - water - 350 ml.
Instructions
Step 1
First of all, you need to prepare Indian homemade cheese. To do this, pour a liter of milk into a saucepan and put it on fire. Squeeze the juice out of the lemon and add it to the milk after it boils. Remember to stir the mixture continuously while doing this. Then cook for another 1-2 minutes. Strain the resulting mass through several layers of gauze, rinse thoroughly with warm water and squeeze.
Step 2
Place the Indian cottage cheese on your work surface. Stir it well until it becomes a homogeneous mass.
Step 3
Pinch off small pieces of cheese and shape them into a ball. Each such figure should be even, neat and without the slightest cracks.
Step 4
Using a large, clean saucepan, combine the water and granulated sugar in it. Boil the resulting solution until boiling. Once this happens, reduce the heat slightly and let the syrup simmer for another 5 minutes.
Step 5
Put the rolled cheese balls into the finished sugar syrup. Cook them, covered with a lid, for 10-15 minutes.
Step 6
Place the saucepan in which the cheese balls were prepared in a bowl of cold water. Leave the future delicacy in this form for about a whole day. Thus, it will be saturated with sugar syrup. Indian dessert "Rasgullah" is ready! By the way, you can diversify it a little if you soak it, for example, with jam.
