The national pride of Cyprus - halloumi cheese - is good not only in itself, but also in salads. And this recipe is a direct proof.
It is necessary
- 225 g halloumi cheese;
- 4 sweet peppers (preferably multi-colored);
- A bunch of dill;
- A bunch of parsley;
- Several mint leaves;
- Coarse salt and black pepper to taste;
- Olive oil;
- Sumy - 1 tbsp.
Instructions
Step 1
Grate the peppers with salt, oil and pepper and send them under a preheated grill until they are surely blackened. Then put them in a baking bag - this will make it easier for us to peel them.
Step 2
Meanwhile, cut the halloumi cheese into small cubes and fry in a skillet (if you have a good non-stick skillet, no butter) until golden brown.
Step 3
Peel the peppers, cut into thin strips and transfer to a salad bowl. Send cheese cubes there.
Finely chop the greens, add to the peppers and cheese, sprinkle with sumac. Try it, maybe add salt and pepper to taste. Drizzle lightly with olive oil (optional) and serve!
