If you like boiled potatoes, there is a very interesting recipe for making them in the microwave. For cooking you will need: 6 small young potato tubers, a mixture of dry Provencal herbs, salt to taste, and 2 tbsp. vegetable oil and 2 cloves of garlic.

In principle, chopped garlic can be replaced with onions. The main thing is that it is cut into thin half rings.

Rinse the young potatoes and dry them. Chop the garlic finely. Then coat the potatoes with vegetable oil and sprinkle with salt and dry Provencal herbs. Place the tubers in a tight plastic bag (a disposable one will do) and add minced garlic there. After that, carefully tie the bag and make sure to make a small hole in it so that the steam can escape. You should not worry, because the bag will definitely not melt in such a short cooking time.

Place the bag of potatoes in the microwave. Turn it on for 10 minutes at full power. After the cooking time has elapsed, let the tubers sit in the microwave for another 3 minutes. Then turn on the stove again for 10 minutes. The finished potatoes should be removed from the microwave and served. By the way, this dish will be an excellent side dish for fish, poultry or meat.

The average cooking time for young potatoes should be 4 to 9 minutes. It depends on the number of tubers.

To prepare boiled potatoes with cheese, prepare in advance such necessary products as: 3 tubers, 2 tbsp. olive oil, 2 tablespoons chopped dry herbs (you can use parsley, rosemary, green onions, thyme), 5 tbsp. grated cheese.

Peel the potatoes and cut them into fairly thin slices. Place it in a microwave dish and cover with olive oil. Sprinkle with herbs and salt as desired. Select the highest setting and cook for 5 minutes. That's actually the whole simple cooking process. It remains only to get the boiled potatoes and sprinkle them with cheese. It will be delicious when the cheese melts and soaks the warm potatoes.

If you have recently cooked meat and you still have broth left over, you can boil the potatoes in it. It will turn out to be a very appetizing dish. You will need: 300 ml of rich meat broth, 500 g of potatoes, bay leaves, herbs and salt to taste. Pour meat broth into a special container (preferably using a heat-resistant pan) for microwave oven, put bay leaf and chopped greens there, and also salt. Cover the dish with a lid and place in the microwave. The broth should be heated for 4 minutes at the highest power.

If desired, young, medium-sized potatoes can be cooked directly in the skin. But older and larger tubers are recommended to be peeled and cut in half.

Peel the potato tubers thoroughly and rinse thoroughly under running water. You can cut them into circles or small cubes. Dip the potatoes in the broth and cook for about 8 minutes. In this case, the power should not be reduced.
