A hearty breakfast is the key to a good working day. I really liked the Spanish omelet during my travels in Europe, and now I'm making it for breakfast for myself and my family.
It is necessary
300 grams of potatoes, 5 eggs, 1 onion, 1 tomato, half a can of green peas, 4 tablespoons of olive oil, salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Step 1
Peel, wash and cut the potatoes into very thin slices. Sprinkle with salt.
Step 2
Peel the onion and chop finely. Cut the tomatoes into thin rings.
Step 3
Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet and fry the potatoes for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Add the onion and sauté for another 5 minutes over very low heat.
Step 4
Break the eggs into a large bowl and beat lightly. Salt and pepper
Step 5
Add potatoes with onions, tomatoes and peas to the eggs. Mix gently.
Step 6
Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet and pour in the mixture.
Step 7
Reduce heat and cook over low heat for about 15 minutes. If you like toasted omelet on both sides, then fry for 10 minutes on one side and 5 on the other. Serve hot.
