Are you a fan of marshmallow treats? Then cook it at home. You can make such a dessert with absolutely any taste. I offer you lemon-flavored marshmallows.
It is necessary
- - sugar - 100 g;
- - lemon jelly - 50 g;
- - water - 200 ml;
- - icing sugar - 2-3 tablespoons;
- - vanillin - 1 sachet;
- - citric acid - a pinch;
- - gelatin - 15 g.
Instructions
Step 1
Place the gelatin in a loose saucepan. Fill it with 100 milliliters of cold boiled water. In this state, leave this mass for about a quarter of an hour - the gelatin will swell in this way.
Step 2
Combine granulated sugar and lemon jelly. Pour this dry mixture with 100 milliliters of boiling water. Mix everything thoroughly. Dissolve the swollen gelatin by heating it over a fire, then put it to the sugar-lemon mass. Beat with a mixer for a quarter of an hour, that is, 15 minutes.
Step 3
When a quarter of an hour has passed, add a pinch of citric acid to the resulting mixture. Beat everything for 5 minutes. As a result, you will get a rather lush and light mass.
Step 4
Pour the resulting light mass into a previously prepared dish covered with a sheet of parchment. In this form, put the future marshmallow in the refrigerator for at least 3-4 hours. After this period of time, remove the dessert from the refrigerator and sprinkle with a dry mixture consisting of powdered sugar and vanillin. Flip the dish onto baking paper.
Step 5
Remove the parchment from under the finished delicacy and cut it, having previously greased the knife with sunflower oil, into pieces. Zephyr "Lemon" is ready!
