  • - 1 medium lemon,
  • - 0.5 l. water,
  • - 750 grams of sugar.

Instructions

Step 1

Collect dandelion flowers in the basket. Desirable only yellow flowers, no greenery. Use scissors for convenience. Dandelions are best harvested on sunny days.

Step 2

Sort the collected flowers (they may contain insects), then rinse well in water and discard in a colander, let the water drain.

Step 3

Transfer the dandelions to a saucepan, add water, put on fire, after boiling, cook for ten minutes over low heat. After ten minutes, cover the pan with a lid and a towel, and leave for half an hour.

Step 4

Wash the lemon, cut into thin slices. Can be in rings or quarters, if desired. The lemon slices will be in the jam, they will become transparent and very tasty.

Step 5

After half an hour, strain the dandelion broth. Flowers are no longer needed. Put the broth (it will be yellow-green) on fire and bring to a boil over low heat. Then add sugar to the broth in small portions, stir well. After the sugar has dissolved, add the lemon slices. Reduce heat, the broth should boil slowly. Cook under the lid for half an hour, stir occasionally so as not to burn. Pour the finished jam into sterile jars and tighten the lids.
