Unusual, but very tasty muffins with peas and smoked meats. A little time, a drop of imagination - and a hearty and incredibly fragrant dish is ready!
It is necessary
- - 300 g peas (of your choice)
- - 1 head of onion
- - 1 carrot
- - 50 g smoked meats (ham, sausage, meat)
- - 1 tbsp. l. olive oil (can be substituted with vegetable or lean)
- - 75 g of walnuts (a few must be set aside for decoration in the form of halves)
- - salt and spices to taste
Instructions
Step 1
First, rinse the peas thoroughly in cold water, bring to a boil and cook for 40 minutes until tender. Do not salt or pepper the peas. Cool the boiled peas and grind them with a blender. The result is a delicate pea puree, very tasty without any spices.
Step 2
Grind the walnut (not forgetting to put aside a few halves for decoration) and add to our pea mass, which acquires a spicy, tart nutty taste.
Step 3
Finely chop the onion, rub the carrots on a fine grater. Saute over low heat in vegetable or olive oil and cool. Smoked meats are also finely chopped and mixed with cooled vegetables.
Step 4
We take muffin molds. It can be either silicone or metal molds. Put the pea puree in a mold, kneading it with your fingers like a dough. Put a little prepared filling of vegetables and smoked meats in the middle. Close the filling on top with a layer of pea mass. We decorate our muffins with walnut halves. The dish is ready.
