Italian-style ice cream is an amazing delicacy that can be served for dessert. Of course, you can buy ice cream at the store, but it's much better to make it yourself. Self-made ice cream will surprise the whole family and guests.

Ingredients:

  • Vanilla - ½ pod;
  • Cream - 350 g;
  • Egg yolks - 8 pcs;
  • Powdered sugar - 100 g;
  • Dark chocolate - 100 g;
  • Heavy cream - 400 g;
  • Walnuts - 75 g.

Preparation:

  1. Pour the cream into a saucepan and put on a low heat. Cut the vanilla pod in half with a knife. Add vanilla pod and seeds to cream. If there is no vanilla in this form, then add diluted vanillin to the cream. Bring the vanilla cream to a boil. Continue to cook until the cream thickens. The main thing is not to forget to stir.
  2. Beat the egg yolks with the powdered sugar to form a light and fluffy mixture. Remove seeds and vanilla pods from boiled cream. Pour cream into the sugar-egg mixture in a thin stream, whisk continuously. Pour the mixture into a fireproof bowl.
  3. Then melt the dark chocolate thoroughly in a water bath. Heat 100 g of heavy cream and mix with melted chocolate. Add remaining heavy cream and stir.
  4. Place the bowl with the vanilla cream and egg mixture in a container of hot water (not boiling). Beat continuously until a thick and fluffy mixture is obtained. Gradually add melted chocolate while stirring. You will get a blank for ice cream.
  5. Chop the walnuts. Add half of the nuts to the prepared ice cream mixture and stir.
  6. Place the bowl with the ice cream blank in cold water and beat again until it cools completely. Pour into a dish or dish and place the mixture in the freezer. Occasionally you need to check and stir the mixture until it freezes. To do this, keep it in the freezer for about 4 hours.
  7. Remove from the freezer and place in glass bowls and garnish with the remaining walnuts.
