Many families are very fond of serving cutlets to the table, because they are easy and quick to prepare, and also go with any side dish. But why not cook fish cutlets instead of the usual meat cutlets for a change? They are not only tasty, but also healthy. Minced meat made from fish fillets is lighter than meat. Therefore, such cutlets are lush, juicier and more tender.

It is necessary

  • - Fish (any, with a low content of bones: cod, pollock, halibut or hake) - 1 kg;
  • - Onions - 2 pcs.;
  • - Chicken eggs - 2 pcs.;
  • - Flour - 4 tbsp. l.;
  • - Mayonnaise - 4 tbsp. l.;
  • - Sunflower oil for frying;
  • - Ground black pepper;
  • - Salt.

Instructions

Step 1

Clean the fish, remove bones, skin and rinse under running water. Cut the fillet into large cubes. Peel the onions and chop as small as possible.

Step 2

In a large bowl, combine the fish cubes and chopped onions. Crack chicken eggs. Add mayonnaise and flour. And also black pepper and salt to taste. Mix everything together well.

Step 3

Pour vegetable oil into the pan and heat it well. Take a tablespoon and fill it with minced fish with a slice. Form a patty and place in a preheated skillet. In the same way, make cutlets from the rest of the minced meat and fry them on both sides until a crispy brown crust appears. Cutlets should be fried at medium temperature.

Step 4

Place the finished products on a separate dish. Serve hot with a side dish: mashed potatoes, boiled pasta, rice or pea porridge and fresh salad.
