The Eastern Prince salad is an incredibly tasty spicy, light dish. The intriguing name hides a rather simple list of ingredients and an uncomplicated cooking process, which does not impair the taste.
Ingredients:
- Beef - 400 g;
- Hard cheese - 20 g;
- Green radish - 2 medium-sized fruits;
- 1 lemon;
- Chicken eggs - 4 pcs;
- Provencal mayonnaise - 3 tablespoons
- Olive oil (can be replaced with sunflower oil) - 4 tablespoons;
- Flour of the highest grades - 1 tbsp;
- Onions - 2 heads;
- Fragrant mixture of ground peppers, salt.
Preparation:
- Prepare the radish in advance by thoroughly rinsing, peeling and keeping in cold water for 40-60 minutes, this must be done to remove excess bitterness.
- Grind the soaked radish through a coarse grater, squeeze out excess juice if necessary.
- Wash the beef thoroughly, cook in slightly salted water, adding peppercorns. Cool and chop with medium strips.
- Peel the onion, chop it into thin half rings.
- Pour flour and salt into a deep bowl, roll the chopped onion in the mixture, and then fry in a pan with the addition of oil until a pleasant golden crust is obtained.
- Boil and cool chicken eggs in cold water. Peel off the shell, cut the protein into half rings, chop the yolk.
- Wash the lemon, and then divide into quarters, squeeze the juices from the two in advance.
- Grind the cheese through a coarse grater or cut into small strips.
- Combine cooked onions with chopped meat. Put the container in a warm place.
- Put the grated radish and cheese in a salad bowl. Sprinkle the contents with lemon juice.
- Add onion with beef, then pepper, salt to taste, season with mayonnaise and stir.
- Put the salad in a salad bowl, add a part of the boiled egg and a slice of lemon to it.
