Many have never even cooked baklava, considering that the recipe for its preparation is rather complicated. In fact, this is not the case, cooking baklava is very quick and easy. But at the same time, such a delicacy for tea, like baklava, is simply irreplaceable.

It is necessary

  • For 20 pieces:
  • - 100 g butter
  • - 1 glass of sour cream
  • - 3 cups flour
  • - 2 cups shelled walnuts
  • - 1 cup peeled pistachios
  • - 1, 5 cups of sugar
  • - 5 tablespoons of honey
  • - vegetable oil

Instructions

Step 1

Put sour cream and softened butter in a deep cup, stir. Then add flour and knead into a soft dough.

Step 2

Divide the dough into four equal portions. Roll a ball out of each part. Wrap each piece in a separate bag and refrigerate for 40 minutes.

Step 3

For the filling, grind all the nuts into crumbs. After that add all the sugar there, stir, then add 2 tablespoons of honey and stir again so that the honey is evenly distributed. Divide the filling into three equal parts.

Step 4

Remove the dough from the refrigerator and roll one ball into a thin flat cake. Place it on a greased baking sheet with vegetable oil. Spread 1/3 of the filling on the cake and squeeze it a little.

Step 5

Next, roll out the second ball also thinly and place the filling on top. Again, put the next part of the filling on top. Next, we alternate between the dough and the filling.

Step 6

On top of the baklava, make a diamond pattern with a knife, but do not cut deeply.

Step 7

Bake for 20 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. When the dough is browned, pour over the syrup. To do this, mix 2 tbsp. spoons of honey and 2 tbsp. spoons of water. And brush with the remaining honey.

Step 8

Next, put in the oven and bake for another 25 minutes.
