Warm salad with octopus tentacles is a traditional Italian recipe. The dish turns out to be quite spicy thanks to the use of many spices and chili peppers. To prepare this salad, it is better to take very small potatoes.

  • - octopus tentacles
  • - 200 g small potatoes
  • - arugula
  • - honey
  • - 4 cloves of garlic
  • - 50 ml balsamic vinegar
  • - 1 lemon
  • - 100 g cherry tomatoes
  • - 50 g olives
  • - thyme
  • - salt
  • - ground black pepper
  • - 1 chili pepper
  • - a few lettuce leaves

Instructions

Step 1

Boil the octopus, remove the skin and cut into small pieces. You can leave the tentacles intact. Cut the cherry tomatoes in half.

Step 2

Boil the potatoes and cut them into two or more pieces. Chop arugula and lettuce with a knife or tear by hand.

Step 3

In a separate bowl, combine the juice of one lemon, two tablespoons of honey, 60 ml of balsamic vinegar, a little olive oil, salt, black pepper and chopped chili. Mix the ingredients into a homogeneous mass.

Step 4

Fry the potatoes in olive oil until golden brown. While cooking, add thyme, minced garlic, cherry tomatoes and octopus tentacles to the contents of the pan. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 5

Mix the arugula and lettuce leaves thoroughly with the prepared lemon sauce. Place the workpiece in an even layer on a plate. Spread the potato and octopus mixture on top. Garnish with olives and lightly season with olive oil.
