Warm salads are an excellent dish that can serve as a full breakfast, become a hearty snack for alcoholic beverages. Usually warm salads are served separately; no garnish is required. As a dressing, use olive oil, lemon sauce, cheese sauce, wine or balsamic vinegar. But sour cream and mayonnaise are not suitable for dressing warm salads. To make a warm salad even more satisfying, you can prepare it with crispy bacon.
Warm Pear Salad with Crispy Bacon Recipe
Ingredients:
- 150 g watercress;
- 4 strips of bacon;
- 2 pears;
- 50 g of pine nuts.
For the cheese sauce:
- 750 ml of natural yogurt;
- 150 g of cheese;
- 4 st. tablespoons of lemon juice, olive oil.
Rinse the salad, pat dry. Wash pears, core, cut into wedges. Grill the bacon or fry it until crisp in a skillet without oil. Cut the cheese into cubes, mash a little with a fork. Whisk lemon juice, yogurt, butter in a blender, add cheese, beat until smooth.
Spread lettuce leaves, pear wedges, warm bacon strips on plates, sprinkle with pine nuts. Serve the salad with cheese sauce.
Warm Avocado and Bacon Salad Recipe
Ingredients:
- 3 medium avocados;
- 4 slices of bacon;
- 1 medium tomato, red onion; paprika, celery root;
- a glass of grated cheddar cheese;
- 2 tbsp. tablespoons of balsamic vinegar;
- 2 teaspoons of sweet chili sauce, sugar.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Lubricate the mold with oil. Cut the avocado in half, remove the seeds, remove 2/3 of the pulp, chop coarsely. Remove the skin from the tomato, remove the seeds, chop finely. Fry bacon until crisp, cool, cut.
Toss in bacon, avocado, tomato, onion, chopped peppers and celery. Separately mix the chili sauce, vinegar, sugar, pour the salad ingredients with this dressing, stir. Place the filling in the avocado halves, sprinkle with the cheese. Place the avocado in a baking dish and bake for about ten minutes. This warm salad is usually served with crackers, bread toast, or chips.
