But sometimes the housewife is limited in products, and she wants to please her relatives with a hearty dinner. Minced meat is a versatile product from which you can whip up many different dishes.
Cutlets
Perhaps, cutlets are the simplest minced meat dish. But no matter how tasty they are, they can also get bored. Therefore, it is recommended to diversify them a little. For example, in the middle of raw cutlets, you can put a filling of cheese and garlic or boiled eggs and herbs when sculpting. It seems to be an ordinary cutlet, but more interesting. You can also add pieces of bell pepper to the ready-made raw minced meat, and a couple of minutes before the end of frying, cover each cutlet with a "cheese cap".
Of course, in order for ordinary cutlets to be tasty, you need to buy minced meat that is good in quality and composition. Better yet, make it yourself from fresh meat. Minced beef and pork are a bit fat, chicken is more tender. You can mix types of minced meat - it turns out also delicious.
Meatballs
In fact, these are the same cutlets, only round in shape and with the addition of cereals. Most often, meatballs are cooked with rice. You can mold meatballs from minced meat, fry them until half cooked, then pour with sauce or gravy and simmer until tender over low heat. You can make a gravy from regular tomato paste with the addition of various spices, or from sour cream.
If there is very little minced meat left, then you can make soup with the meatballs. To do this, it is enough to knead the minced meat with spices, chopped onions and garlic, form small balls and add them one by one to boiling water. Next, the meatballs need to be boiled for ten minutes, and then you can send chopped potatoes, carrots, pasta, cereals and so on to the pan. Soup with meatballs is ready in a hurry, while it turns out to be tasty and satisfying.
Stuffed potatoes and nests
Minced meat can be used as a filling that can be used to fill boiled nests or potatoes. Pasta nests are ordinary pasta, only they are curled in the form of a nest. It is enough to boil these very nests and fill them with separately cooked minced meat with the addition of spices, onions, herbs. Ready-made nests with filling can be poured with ketchup, sprinkled with cheese - delicious, fast and beautiful.
Stuffed potatoes are prepared in the same way, they must first be boiled until tender, then cut each potato in half, carefully pull out the middle and replace it with filling. You can sprinkle generously with cheese on top and put in a preheated oven for a couple of minutes to form a golden brown crust.
Unusual sorcerers
This is a national Belarusian dish, minced meat is also present in it. It prepares quickly. Raw potatoes should be grated, salt the resulting puree, add a raw egg and a spoonful of flour, mix thoroughly. Minced meat must be fried separately. It is necessary to mold tortillas from potatoes, put minced meat in the middle of each and cover with a second potato tortilla on top. It is necessary to fry the sorcerers on each side over low heat under a closed lid. They are usually served with sour cream.
