Seafood salads are especially popular not only for their taste, but also for the variety of options for their preparation. What products are not combined in salads with crab sticks, squid or shrimps - there are pineapples, fresh and canned vegetables, and various grains and legumes.
An interesting and easy to prepare salad with crab sticks, in it all the components must be laid out in layers.
"Air" salad with crab sticks
Ingredients:
- crab sticks - 200 grams;
- carrots - 2 pieces;
- eggs - 4 pieces;
- potatoes - 4 tubers;
- processed cheese - 1 pack;
- mayonnaise - 250 ml;
- salt.
Wash the carrots and potato tubers and boil with the peel, then cool and peel. Hard boil the eggs, then cool them in cold water and remove the shells. Grate the carrots and potatoes, place in different containers, grate the processed cheese in a separate plate. Remove the crab sticks from the packaging and cut them into small cubes. Divide the boiled eggs into yolks and whites, then grind each one separately, put in different dishes.
Form a salad from the prepared products in layers: half the potatoes, then lay out half the carrots, then a layer of processed cheese, then crab sticks and a layer of boiled proteins, then a layer of the remaining potatoes, a layer of carrots and lay out the yolks last. Apply a mayonnaise mesh between each layer. You can decorate the finished salad with flowers from boiled carrots and a sprig of parsley.
Cornucopia salad
Ingredients:
- peeled boiled shrimp - 250 grams;
- rice - 1 glass;
- lightly salted salmon or trout - 300 grams;
- canned corn - 1 can;
- fresh cucumber - 2 pieces;
- lemon juice - ½ fruit;
- mayonnaise - 200 ml;
- parsley greens - 1 bunch;
- red caviar - 1 tbsp. spoon (for decoration);
- salt;
- green onions - 1 bunch;
- eggs - 4-5 pieces;
- ground pepper.
Rinse the rice, cover with water and boil with a pinch of salt until tender. Throw the rice in a colander, drain the remaining water, cool the finished cereal. Pour the eggs with water, put on fire, boil them hard-boiled, then cool with cold water and remove the shell.
Rinse cucumbers and greens of onions and parsley, put on a napkin to dry. Cut the cucumbers and lightly salted salmon into cubes. Cut the boiled and peeled shrimp into pieces too.
Divide the boiled eggs into yolks and whites, grate the yolks in a separate plate on a fine grater and set aside, they will serve as a decoration for the salad. Cut the squirrels into ordinary small pieces. Finely chop the dried parsley and onion.
Sprinkle prepared pieces of salted fish and shrimp with lemon juice, mix fish with shrimp, add cucumber cubes, boiled rice. Open a jar of canned corn, drain off any excess liquid, and add the corn to the rest of the salad. Add chopped proteins and green onions to the salad, salt and pepper the salad, pour mayonnaise on it and gently mix all the products.
Put the prepared salad on a horn-shaped salad plate, decorate it with a net of mayonnaise, put the yolk, parsley leaves and red caviar in the cells.
