Crab sticks are an imitation of crab meat, but not the meat itself. Nevertheless, this product is healthy and tasty. Salads and various snacks are especially tasty with crab sticks.
Summer salad with crab sticks and corn
This salad is one of the most popular and demanded, as it is prepared from available products that can always be bought at any grocery store. His taste is amazing. Can decorate any table.
For the salad, you will need the following products:
- 1 pack of crab sticks
- 5 boiled chicken eggs
- 1 can of corn
- 2 fresh cucumbers
- mayonnaise to taste
- ground black pepper to taste
- greens for decoration
Salad making process
- Boil the eggs first. Wash the eggs, add water and cook after boiling for 10 minutes. Cool by pouring cold water, clean. Cut the eggs. It is better to cut it into small cubes or you can skip it through a mesh vinaigrette. You can use the egg cutter gadget.
- If the cucumbers are young and tender, then you should not peel them from the skin. Hard-skinned cucumbers are best peeled. Cut into cubes too. It is advisable to cut it as small as possible so that the salad turns out to be more tender. Not only the taste of the future salad, but also its appearance depends on how carefully the ingredients are cut.
- Defrost crab sticks if they are out of the freezer. Cut also finely and neatly
- Open the can of corn. Drain the existing liquid from it.
- In a deep bowl or salad bowl, combine the ingredients: chopped cucumbers, crab sticks and eggs. Pour corn to them and add mayonnaise to taste. You can add salt and pepper to taste.
- Mix everything gently. Let stand for 5-10 minutes. Garnish with herbs when serving.
Snack salad with crab sticks and olives
This dish can hardly be called a salad - it is rather an appetizer with crab sticks, which is prepared in the form of balls. Very tasty and beautiful. Can decorate any festive table.
You will need the following ingredients:
- 200 g crab sticks (1 pack)
- 150 g hard cheese
- 4 boiled chicken eggs
- 3-4 cloves of garlic
- olives on demand
- mayonnaise as needed
- salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Crab Balls Snack
- Boil eggs in the usual way, hard boiled. Cool down. Take a deep bowl or other cooking container so that it is convenient to stir the contents later. Grate eggs and cheese (preferably fine).
- In the resulting mass, grate the garlic or pass it through a garlic press. Add mayonnaise there, salt and pepper to taste. Mix well. Add mayonnaise in small portions so as not to overdo it, since the mass should turn out to be a thick consistency. This consistency is needed to roll the balls, otherwise they will fall apart.
- Grate the crab sticks on a fine grater in a separate bowl.
- We form balls. Take one tablespoon of the filling salad. Place an olive in the middle and form a ball.
- Roll the ball in crab sticks and put on a plate. Do this with all the existing filling. Decorate with herbs as desired.
Advice. Instead of olives, you can take nuts - walnuts, peanuts or others. Try to make the balls the same size, and to make it convenient to roll them, moisten your hands with water. It is important to present them beautifully.
