Ingredients:

  • 3 chicken eggs;
  • 600 g sour cream for cream and 300 g for cakes;
  • 1 tsp baking powder;
  • 1 tbsp poppy seeds;
  • 20 g gelatin;
  • 40-60 g of dark or milk chocolate without additives;
  • 150 g granulated sugar for cream and 250 g for cakes;
  • 300-350 g wheat flour;
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa powder;
  • 100 g of nuts;
  • 100 g cream;
  • a couple of gummies (for decoration).

Preparation:

  1. The preparation of this wonderful cake begins with the preparation of the cakes. To do this, take a dish that is deep enough and mix eggs and granulated sugar in it. Then, using a mixer, this mass is thoroughly whipped (it should turn white). Then sour cream is put there and everything is whipped again.
  2. Be sure to sift the flour through a sieve and add baking powder to it. The flour is well mixed and added in portions to the whipped mass. Make sure that no lumps form.
  3. Then the dough is cut into 3 equal parts. After that, washed poppy seeds are poured into one of the parts, cocoa powder into the other, and cocoa and nuts in the third, which should be pre-ground.
  4. Then the cakes are baked alternately in a preheated oven. On average, the cake is cooked for 11-15 minutes. For reliability, readiness can be checked with a toothpick.
  5. Then you need to start preparing the cream. To do this, gelatin is mixed with cream, which must be necessarily warm. Then the present gelatin is put on a very low heat. It should dissolve completely, but be careful not to boil the liquid.
  6. Mix sugar with sour cream and add gelatin to the resulting mass. Everything mixes very well.
  7. Then you should start forming the cake and for this it is best to use a split form. A cake is placed on the bottom, to which nuts are added, and then the "poppy" cake comes. Each of them is generously lubricated with cream. Then pieces are laid out in the remains of the cream, into which you will first need to cut the third cake. The resulting mass is neatly stacked on top of the cake.
  8. The cake is decorated with melted chocolate (both black and white can be used) and chopped marmalade. Leave the dessert in a cool place for at least 4 hours.
