Calzones with mashed potatoes are great for breakfast combined with a hot cup of coffee.
It is necessary
- - 500 g pizza dough
- - flour
- - 4 slices of bacon
- - 300 g mashed potatoes
- - ½ glass of milk
- - green onion
- - 60 g goat cheese
- - salt and ground pepper
- - 100 g of grated hard cheese
- - olive oil
- For the sauce:
- - 240 ml Greek yogurt
- - 3 tbsp. cheese dor blue
- - salt and ground pepper
- - 3 tbsp. milk
- - garlic powder to taste
Instructions
Step 1
The oven must be heated to 220 degrees. Grease a baking sheet with olive oil, then line it with parchment paper.
Step 2
The bacon should be fried on both sides until crisp for about 7-10 minutes. Loan to remove excess fat from it by blotting it with a paper towel. Then chop finely.
Step 3
In a food processor, whisk the mashed potatoes with goat cheese and milk. Then season with salt and pepper, add chopped bacon and onions, stir with a spatula.

Pieces of dough must be rolled out.

In the middle, put ¼ part of the mashed potatoes on one half of the circle dough, put the grated cheese on top.

Carry out similar actions with the rest of the dough pieces.

Then you need to close the calzone, fix the dough. Transfer the calzone to a baking sheet. Bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown. Cool before serving.
Step 8
While the calzones are being baked, the sauce needs to be prepared. Mix all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
Serve ready-made calzones with sauce.
