Step 1
Combine wheat flour and butter. Then add ingredients such as granulated sugar and a raw chicken egg there. Mix everything until smooth, then put the resulting dough into the refrigerator for about 60 minutes. After the time has passed, take it out and do not touch it for half an hour.
Step 2
Pour the granulated sugar into a preheated frying pan. When it melts and its color turns light brown, add walnuts, chopped into small pieces, to it. Mix everything properly, then add honey together with cream there. After bringing the formed mass to a boil, remove it from the stove and allow time to cool. By the way, it is best to use liquid honey for making Swiss walnut cake.
Step 3
Divide the dough that has stood at room temperature so that one of its parts is slightly larger than the other. Roll out most of it into a round layer, the thickness of which is equal to 3 millimeters, place it in a parchment-lined baking dish.
Step 4
Place the nut mass on the dough laid out in a mold and cover it on top with a smaller part of the dough. In this form, cook the treat in the oven at 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes. The Swiss nut cake is ready!
