This easy-to-prepare salad will decorate any festive table, and the guests will be satisfied. The ingredients are very simple and inexpensive, so they are available to every housewife.
Ingredients:
- crab sticks or crab meat - 200 gr.;
- potatoes - 5 pieces;
- carrots - 3 pieces;
- mayonnaise - 150 g;
- salt.
How to make a puff salad with crab sticks
Rinse vegetables thoroughly, place in a saucepan and cover with water. You can also put eggs here. Bring to a boil and cook the eggs for about 10 minutes, then transfer them to another container and cover with cold water. Continue cooking vegetables until cooked through. Then cool the vegetables, remove the skin. Peel the eggs.
Chop the carrots and potatoes with a fine grater. Divide the eggs into whites and yolks, grate separately.
Finely chop the previously thawed crab sticks.
Start spreading the salad into a nice wide dish:
- The first layer is from potatoes, spread and grease with mayonnaise. Leave half of the potatoes as this will be the second layer.
- The second layer is crab sticks.
- The third layer - egg whites, lay them out and thickly coat with mayonnaise.
- The fourth layer is the second part of the potatoes.
- The fifth layer is carrots. Brush with mayonnaise.
Decorate the resulting dish by gently sprinkling with chopped chicken egg yolks.
