It is necessary

  • - 100 g of icing sugar;
  • - 100 g of butter;
  • - 0.5 teaspoon of sugar;
  • - 30 g of cocoa powder;
  • - 200 g flour;
  • - 1 teaspoon baking powder for dough;
  • - 1 egg;
  • - 0.5 teaspoon of salt;
  • - 150 g cherries (frozen, in their own juice or fresh).

Instructions

Step 1

Grate the cold butter on a coarse grater, then mix with powdered sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Next, put an egg in a semi-prepared mass and knead the dough, when the dough is ready, place it in plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator overnight so that it becomes chilled. If you are using frozen cherries, then wait for them to defrost until the end and drain the juice.

Step 2

Remove the dough from the refrigerator and roll it out 3-7 mm thick. Then cut out the circles in a special shape (you can also use a glass). The number of circles must be even. Put the cherry on the first circle, and with the second circle, cover the filling on top and pinch around the edges with a fork. Sprinkle sugar over the circles, preferably those with large crystals. Most importantly, make a few holes on the circles with a fork or skewer so that excess moisture can evaporate on its own during baking.

Step 3

Preheat the oven to 180 ° С and place the cookies in it for 20-25 minutes so that they bake there, then let the cookies cool down, placing them on the table for 10-15 minutes, and serve cold cookies with a glass of milk or hot coffee, in depending on the preference of the person to whom you are serving the dish.
