Marmalade is everyone's favorite delicacy. It does not need to be purchased from a store. I propose to cook this dish at home from berries such as raspberries. Homemade marmalade will be no worse than purchased, on the contrary - better.
It is necessary
- - raspberries - 500 g;
- - sugar - 1 glass;
- - citric acid on the tip of a knife;
- - pectin - 2 sachets.
Instructions
Step 1
Sort the raspberries carefully. This is necessary in order to remove unnecessary leaves and other debris. Then carefully place it in a loose saucepan. Fill with water so that it only just covers the berry. In this form, put this mass on the stove and cook for 2-3 minutes. After that, rub the raspberries through a sieve.
Step 2
Put the resulting slightly thick raspberry mass into a loose bowl. Then add the following ingredients to it: granulated sugar, pectin and citric acid. Mix everything as it should. Put the resulting mixture on fire. Boil it until thick, that is, about 10 minutes. If this amount of time is not enough, then cook for a few minutes longer.
Step 3
Grease a baking tray with a little sunflower oil. Then pour the thick raspberry mass into it. Gently spread it over the entire surface so that you get a layer no more than 2 centimeters thick. Leave the future marmalade in this form at room temperature until it hardens completely.
Step 4
Carefully cut the frozen raspberry mass into small pieces of different shapes. Then roll each in granulated sugar. Raspberry marmalade is ready!
